Manuel clear but the side-chain, quelsques search the forum all the same, in fact, not the compressor VST j'avias appropriate DualComp Mac is free ( http://sonictransfer.com/side-chain- tutorial.shtml-compression ( http://sonictransfer.com/side-chain-compression-tutorial.shtml ) ).
Otherwise, easy config.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
On a black MacBook Core2Duo, no bug, as the old, some delays and timing effects but silent single-core and I do not rule the tracks, I use 5 to 10 effects per track about at least eight track.
Ultimate performance and stable, especially as I do "save as" as every half hour.
Never plant except once because of a VST unstable.
OVERALL OPINION
Live6 I use for 6 months and a mobile studio and minimum is the top.
J'avias tried almost everything and since I spent a weekend on ableton, I did let go ...
A little CHRE but I use it mostly stand alone.

Ableton Live is perfect, not even with Reason is good but keeps the constraint of the analog interface level and above, and finally a soft touch with which we can all do anything, no drag 'o matter what anyone short, express, CRER, imagine ...
