- The installation is done it without problems?
- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
- The general configuration is easy?

Well it's simple: there are three CD is inserted in the first drive and the rest is almost alone. You just change the CD or clicker from time to time.

Once you register as a user install Cakewalk, by net or phone, and you can launch the app that is also almost single parameter (card detection and audio sampling rate) ...

- The manual is clear and sufficient?
The box and comes with a big book paper, is so rare bone day!
And there's a surprise to guide quick start guide and not to him in electronic format, accessible via the F1 key after the soft launch.

This guide says ownership is screwed. I took the time to do the tutorials that are in and I think it does allow a quick start.

Just maybe the part about the effects should have been a little more complete (nothing on the bus architecture).

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

- What is the configuration of your computer? (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Disk / sound card ..)

Athlon XP 2500
512 MB RAM
XP Pro
160 GB hard
Tascam US224 for audio / MIDI and control surface

- The software works he correctly on this configuration?
- What performance? (If quantifiable)
- This software + hardware is stable?

For that runs more than well

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
- What is so special that you like most and least?

It's been three weeks now that I'm working on it and frankly for the price (150 €) there is nothing to say. The interface is fairly intuitive (Tracktion is not either)

The software bundle comes with the XL version is worth € 50 to drop more. Special Mention for the RXP player (REX file player) because the samples are provided with high quality.

The bank soundfonts is well stocked too, but there is good and less good

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
- How would you rate the quality / price?
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...

Between Tracktion, Studiocase II, Magix Music Studio and Sonar Home Studio 200x

If you are looking for a serious soft, not too expensive there is no picture!
more at this price there a real support for control surfaces.
