Can anybody help me by answering to those 4 questions?

1) How you guys're producing a dynamic sound?

2) I mean I have a pentium4 3,5 and a soundcard (TC electronic Konnekt 8) and I use the cubase sx as sequencer and also to record projects but my sound is not pressing!!! Do I miss something to get it done?

3) is it not because of the cubase sx? May be I should use the cubase 4??

4) Is it so important to use an external channel strip and compressor for the vocals recording or are there software/plugin that can do the same work?
