Thread Buying new studio setup - Motu, mics, Krk-speakers, what else?

Hello I'm looking forward to buy a brand new studio setup, and I have not the biggest experiences with recording in a studio.

I've been to some pro studios with my band, but a homestudio is a quite different thing and I've never sat behind the bottons.

I have a quite "big" budget. For me its big!

And what I've been looking at is the following:

    Mark of the Unicorn 896HD preamp.
    KRK-studio monitors, don't know which of them I need.
    Sennheiser E900-series mics <-- My stepfather works at Sennheiser so I get a decent price. :D:


Do I need anything else besides from the cables?

By the way I've got a Acer laptop with 2GB DDR2 and a DualCore 1,8 Ghz proc.




Tell me everything I would miss out of this setup.
And for your interest it shall be used for rock band recording.
