Hey all,

I'm planning on buying a Tascam FW1082 to do my home recording, and I have always done recording with the whole band playing live or one instrument at a time with a delay on the other instruments coming in. Is there a way for the modern recording equipment like the Tascam recorder to count in to a song via metronome clicks or something, so that all the instruments can come in at once?? Or should I maybe just record a Metronome track first to keep everything together and leave it out of the final mix?? Just curious what others have done...
