Thread behringer mixer buzzzzz

i have a small behringer mixer set up in my garage. when i record through my computer without it plugged in, no buzz. once i plug it in i immediatly hear the buzz. ive plugged it into different power strips and plugs in the wall, but that hasn't helped. also have tried different cables. any help?

It sounds like a ground loop problem. Try using it in a different room (on a different circuit), if the buzz dissapears then its a problem with the circuit the sockets are on in your garage. If not, the problem is a faulty unit and you should take it back QUICKLY before the warranty runs out.
