Hello all,

I'm completely new to home recording and wonder if anyone could help me. I've got a Boss BR532 4 track and would like to use it to make some rough demos of my songs. Can anyone tell me what hardware/software/leads/convertors etc I need to convert the digital data on the smart media card in my 4 track to mp3 on my computer, and how to go about doing it. I know nothing about this kind of thing, so speak to me as if im a complete idiot. Cheers!:)

you can either get a smart card reader for your computer, or hook the boss BR532 up via USB (if it has USB). The files on the card should be either in .wav format, if you created a mixdown, or another format which you have to read with one of the programs included w/ the BR532. First step is getting it to your computer.

Cheers, thanks for your help
