Cubase to CD to Computer

Hi, is it possible for me to copy Cubase audio files to CD and then into Cubase at another location on another computer in order to edit them, I seem to be having a bit of trouble, Cubase asks me the whereabouts of some wav. files but I've included them on the disk, any ideas?

file >> save project in new folder

and save directly on cd in the cd-burner. that should do it.
