hey i am abit confused on how to record each drum on a seprate tracks, like if i had 6+ mics on a drum kit how would i go about recording them on seprate channels so i could mix them after recording, ive been searchin the net for days trying to find the answer but no luck

do i need a sound card that has like 10 inputs on it or sumthing?

Yes.

Consider something like the Presonus Firepod or the M-Audio Delta 1010.

if you search the internet you will find tons of these multi-input sound cards.
