I just got a Behringer 1204FX mixer. I am really new at this, but I cannot seem to get it to work. Meaning - I put a dynamic mick into channel one and the phone jack into the input that says phones and I cannot hear anything. I do not have an amplfier hooked up to it and have not be able to set up the USB connection device(UCA200) to work with the computer. However, I should be able to hear my voice in the phones - correct?

Any help would be appreciated. Te users manaual that came with the mixer is written very poorly.
