music writer from audio file?

ive heard of a program that will write music from a audio file. Somthing like it listens to the audio file and then writes sheet music from the song. has anyone heard about this or what it might be called/where i can get it? Thanks

ps im also a noob at this so please use wording i can understand!

you can do this with midi files and guitar pro 4 (or any midi sequencer).

but only in midi.
