are there any Linux users here? i'm new to Linux (ubuntu studio) and really need help figuring out how to record and whatnot (like how do i use JACK?). any help would be appreciated.

in my experience (which is limited using DAW on linux, though its on my list of projects), i installed jack and ardour on debian and it just worked. im surprisued with ubuntu studio that things arent working out of the box. whats the specific problem you're seeing?
