The question is , can i record a complete drum with just 1 kickdrum mic and 1 overhead . Cuz for the moment we only have like this midi kinda thingee with 2 inputs .
Will this work and will the sound be avarage ?

Try it. There are no rules!!!

It won't be "professional" quality, but it might sound ok. Or it might not.... experiment with it!!

This can be a great way to record. You have to experiement and move the mic around to get a nice ballance and more imprtant the drummer needs to play right. (too much high hat? play the hats softer.)

This is how most of the Beatles records were done and people seem to like those records OK :-)
