hello,
i am a student and looking to get a home recording setup. anyone know any place where i can get a "package deal" on a computer and software/mixer ect ?

would be grateful for any advice

I have heard of a few shops doing this, but you will probably end up paying a lot more than you need to. Start doing research on all the parts. Its fun research and you will learn a lot along the way (by the way a music store is probably the worst place to get your info)

Depending on what kind of music you are doing you may not need a computer at all.
