Im a singer song writer...Il be writing music aiming for the charts.

So Im looking to write music similar to that of Dark Child, Timbaland etc..
(Im just trying to give an idea of my own style)

I have some experience already with recording as Ive recorded in some very preofessional studio's, did a part time studio engineering course...and worked with another guy who knew his stuff but I did the writing and he did the recording. So my strong points are hooks, writing the actually song, vocals...but recording it down I need some education there!

But being honest Im better of views as a beginer!

I play key boards and vocals!

So Im ready to set up at home:

Do I buy a Mac??

What Soft ware programme...Pro Tools, Cue Bass etc..which is best for me?

Display Units??? Speakers? Mixing Desks?? Mics??

Am I better off buying certain things 2nd hand??

Any help on this is much appreciated guys, really need the adivce

Im willing to spend about 2-3000 thousand on stuff
