I'm looking to make french house music. so very soulful and funky. And i have Reason 4, but i cant sample with it which is a huge problem. i was wondering what else i should get to head in the right direction?

I recommend Ableton, the lite pack won't set you back much and you can rewire reason to it. That way you get the best of all worlds.
