Kind of a newb question.

When making dance music/electronica i was wondering how they make those sample rolls and repeats at the ends of vocals.

a sugestion of what software is used would be a great help.

Ok what may help if i explain how i did it on my Roland Mv 8000 and transfer some one can help me bridge the gap to how i do it on software.

Would chop the main sample and spread them out on the pads, then any pad of the chopped sample i would want to repeat the end or middle to roll i would copy to another pad use sample edit cut down to the bit i want and save pad. Would then use the handy Roll button on the Roland MV 8000 bobs you uncle (no he's my dad) that would be it.
