Problems with my midi keyboard

Lately I've been experiencing some strange problems with my midikeyboard. Both when using sonar and stand alone soft synth my midikeyboard all of a sudden hangs, and if I press a key it just reacts like if I was pressing one of the lovest keys and this repeats. This suddenly happened without changing any of my equipment and I cannot figure out what the problem is.

My system is a Dell Inspiron 9100 with 2 Gb ram, Sonar 6, Fatar WMK188 and a Echo Audiofire 4 card.

Are you using a midi cable or a usb connection?

Sorry. Using a midi cable that conncets the midikeyboard to the audiofire. I've been working with it all day without any problems. I suspect that maybe the power to the computer, the computer itself or something like that interferes/messes up my midikeyboard, because if I move the computer away from the keyboard it seems to be working fine. Anyone had the same experience?

Well.. Moving the laptop further away from the midikeyboard seems to solve the problem.. :|
