31-band stereo EQ

Digital signal processing (I believe the internal DSP works at 20 kHz instead of 44.1 or 48 kHz)

Optional AES/EBU connections

Behringer website: "The DSP8024 features a 31-band graphic EQ with a real-time analyzer and an Auto-Q function for automatic room measurement and correction plus three bands of parametric equalization. Further highlights include a peak limiter, an adjustable delay (up to 2.5 seconds), a noise gate and Behringer's renowned Feedback Destroyer."

UTILIZATION

I insert it between the mixer output and the sound card input to record hip-hop vocals. It allows me to boost certain frequencies (I have an old sound card).

I also connect it to the output of my sound card for monitoring.

SOUND QUALITY

Very surprising... It makes my monitoring system better. I find it sounds transparent and accurate.

It makes a very good job ^^

Even at low volumes. Depending on your system you should consider buying it.

OVERALL OPINION

It's a very good deal considering its current price. I've used it eight times. I haven't had a single problem (I only had to change the battery).
