«  before and after! »

This is an analog boost, super easy to use (one knob) which allows you to play harder.
true bypass, and no POK when it engages.
power supply: 9V battery (included, with Mike Matthews and his muscles!) or a power supply of type boss.
the pedal is made of metal, nano size (5.5 x 11cm). Solid! we can cram anywhere!
Last detail: the price! the build quality and the sound for the price!

UTILIZATION

one knob, which adjusts the output volume.
Access to the battery is painful: unscrew the bottom of the pedal.
the manual? What?

SOUND QUALITY

The boost is really impressive. When I plugged it in, I realized that this was what I was looking for years. You know, the demos on the internet, especially with Peter Stroud, these guitarists who cruncher their guitar with ease.
With this boost, the sound is louder, certainly, but it is also more "full" more present, more alive.
Clearly, you can go to the crunch (40% of the race) and overdrive.
Saturated, we get a more gritty sound, and above all a truly impressive sustain.

This pedal is not transparent, and lots of bass. I feel that the more you push the boost, the more they are present.
It happens to resolve the problem with the EQ on the amp.

OVERALL OPINION

IT happens to me more often not to use effects, but I can not do without this boost. We quickly get used to good things!

With a single channel amp, you can get some very interesting things.

It summarizes
Pros: price, production, look (personally, I like ...), efficiency, its very typical EHX
The -: access to the battery, low bp.
