Value For Money : Excellent
Effect Type: Treble Booster, Treble booster what A knob of boost, a true bypass and that's it! Format Nano at EHX pedal, power supply 9V type boss, In, Out, all analog and a nice little drawing of white bird on the pedal. EHX's hardcore really.

9 because it takes up no space, easy to feed (as opposed to the old EHX with mini jack), solid, true bypass. I put 10 to Treble booster with Jacques, which offers a little more with his switch.

UTILIZATION

Simple configuration, with a knob, hard to beat. Easy to put in a pedalboard with size "Nano" and a 9V power supply for conventional power supply units.
The manual, bah a small explanatory note in English, anything in French, as usual at EHX. M'enfin is the manual is not really.
For editing sounds, bah is not like a delay or a preamp, there's not much to configure it so that it works well.

Bah 10, I really do not see what I could blame the Screaming Bird perspective use.

SOUND QUALITY

Here is the part that upset over a little.
For me a treble booster, as its name implies, increases the treble. The Screaming bird does, but by cutting the mids and bass. It's pretty confusing. I did several tests since I have:
A quarter of boost, the sound has a volume lower than the basic sound. At the half, we find the usual noise level, and until the end of the race, the highs are more present. At bottom, treble are a bit gaudy, but hey it's pretty normal.
Throughout the race, the boost is musical, but the filter mediums and cutting too low, suddenly the sound loses its consistency. Vintage effect guaranteed, but the sound is particular.
The "sweet spot" on my stuff is between 12h and 15h on the boost. After it's too much, not enough volume before.

5 because the effect is interesting but very particular, and not easy to pigeonhole. I have doubts about using a group, because not enough mids.

OVERALL OPINION

Good advice is pretty "hot". I spent much of the afternoon it (you quickly turn a Boost must be said), to test it with my two guitars (Les Paul type) and my amp (Orange AD30HTC). I have not tried other models, I just saw some videos on Youtube, where I loved the sound of Katapult Jacques. I say "super that it would take me!". I saw the little EHX jme and am told that it would do. Lost Bah! Not at all what I wanted.

What I like most about this pedal is that you really go for treble screaming, there's really a big margin when they are very musical. Cons by what I like least is the next "filter" of the pedal, cutting off all meds and pretty low that break the sound. The effect becomes very vintage, it can appeal. But it's not for me. As a group, with two guitars, it can be fun on one of the two. But with a single guitar, it can break the mix I think.

The quality / price is good, as always with EHX. From this point of view, there's not much to say.

I do not do it again this election, I think bring the pedal in a few days, because it does not meet my expectations. It's a shame, first time I am disappointed by EHX. There's originality, as always, but there was a little too y'en.

5 same. Not bad, it can be a desired effect. The next Nano and the simplicity of the pedal is a plus. But you really have to try it! The sound is unique.
