«  Clone Boss Ce2 in true bypass »

Published on 09/23/14 at 05:02
Best value: Excellent
Analog pedal handmade in England.
I alimentais through a standard 9v Boss-type power supply, nothing to report in particular.
Flaw: I found that the pedal had a weight a little too light. I play with my pedals placed directly on the ground: as I would not have bought a pedalboard, I'm likely to meet again this phenomenon ..

UTILIZATION

Very simple configuration. This is a reproduction of Boss CE2 chorus true bypass.
I have not been provided for manual bought used, but with 2 knobs to manage the chorus depth and speed, we should easily be able to get out :)

SOUND QUALITY

Nice chorus that seems close to the chorus that inspired it. You can go to a range of "light" to "medium +", but not in extreme settings such as one might do on a Small Clone.
Note that the adjustment with two knobs at least that was my favorite. A chorus discreet but slightly far, really nice way of embellishing a clean sound.

OVERALL OPINION

Chorus used a few weeks. I replaced it with a Boss DC2 Dimension I had the opportunity to purchase completely by accident, and I am fully satisfied.
I tried a lot of different models of chorus.
I found it a little too "light" for my taste (I'm probably too used to my pervasive Small Clone), and by my gear it added more to me a little too much treble (I've already too , so it does not suit me).
Considering the price that I paid, the value for money is good. A book for anyone who would seek a chorus from "quiet" to "moderately present."
