UTILIZATION
Getting started very fast because of the simplicity of the settings. Switch ON / OFF switch and chorus / vibe. Red LED indicating the status: blinking = Effect ON, OFF = fixed effect.
The pedal is a block of cast aluminum so super strong but quite cumbersome.
SOUND QUALITY
The grail of chorus, absolute legend! I failed the first time in my quest and I was pulled over the RetroSonic (a very close replica of the sacred relic). But following a series of circumstances I m'retrouve with the desired object! And there, nothing to do! It's magic! The pedal chorus distills always hoped, neither too much nor too little far with a subtlety of Retrosonic.
The settings are the same but the sound is both more complex and finer.
It is noteworthy that no background noise comes from the legend. The vibe is downright fashion of pure juice, organic honey ... and more! In short! Even if the object does not give eternal life there is great chance to keep it in your set for life!
Chorus is playing on two amps if you want all your hair standing on end and a child's eyes filled with tears while.
OVERALL OPINION
Not always easy to find one in excellent condition, with adequate nutrition (many US version) but for lovers of vintage chorus it worth it to seek and wait.
Chorus and vibe are a beauty and an immediately identifiable sound. You still have to be aware that the sound is typed.
I also have a chorus at Voodoo Vibe Roger Mayer, comparable in all respects on the sound quality but the sounds between the two choruses are different and complementary. Needless to seek his Boss-CE1 with Voodoo and vice versa.
So a board, choose according to what you are looking for, what is certain is that if you flash on digital chorus is better to go your way either the Boss or the RM.
And if he can stay in that is the BOSS!
