breath? yeah makes sense. Pq? the device enhances weak signals (and those strong lime). So the noise level increases if we increase the sustain knob.

I compared with the compressor diamond on the same line and same amp in the same store today: the boss works, but the diamond certainly diffrent autant.Pq breath? such, it compresses the sound so enhances weak signals and thus the noise level.
When you put an overdrive or distortion derrire this phnomne is accentuated. and this is normal and it means that everything works. The more you compress and sustain the more you put on a noise.
diamond better boss? yes no doubt the quality of components, not because it is DIFFERENT: the boss allows more compression, but also allows the diamond to cut or increase the treble without coloring the sound.
attention: to boost a solo, it's better to put an overdrive to boost the saturation or volume. The compressor acts only on the intelligibility of the notes.
