This thing is basically diner series dan electro pedal but has a speaker in it making it an actuall amp, therefore you can play whatever thru it, ipod, laptop, guitar. 
Takes regular battery or 9v. is plastic but who cares as ive never cracked one these things.
This pedal claims to be an overdrive pedal, but you would really need to be hungry for some loud simple distortion to use if you didnt have anything else. This thing is set High so the sound is gonna have some gain causing you to turn down your instrument making it a nice sweet spot for any small room. The Dan Electro Bacon 'n Egg's will turn any pedal board into an amp ready rig.
