«  Good for the crunch, at least for the distortion »

Pedal analog crunch / distortion. Brand = Hardwire premium digitech

UTILIZATION

It's tough ("build like a tank" as told to Mr youtube demos length) is the beautiful, well finished, well thought out (except for replacement of the battery I think you need a point to support button spring), stompblock impec (= piece of rubber to protect the settings of knobs), and then not too expensive with all that.
A switch selects the transition from crunch to distortion.

SOUND QUALITY

The crunch is top. Fine grain, good responsiveness to the game of guitar, no media to settle but they follow the variations of the bass / treble (so if we want, we decrease bass / treble, we go back the volume, and the medium comes alone. .. (and tells you everything about your future ... well ....). The bass / treble are well balanced, very effective
It goes from clean boost to crunch stonien Who or so slamming beginning of the period.
That is the distortion that I issue a reservation. For me it is not in, it was more of a crunch and not boosted the side of a compressed and fat distortion. Suddenly, the eq is not easy to find, get a little shrill screaming it remains on its end. If you want two sounds, I think it's best double pedal so Jekyll & Hyde and Jemini. And suddenly, I have not tried the overdrive CM2 but I'm curious to compare them.

OVERALL OPINION

The name of Valve distortion is somewhat usurped as moi.Valve crunch would make more sense, especially since this kind of pedal does not run the streets, it was more of the tube screamer galore in general.
To the side crunch in any case, it's 100%, nothing wrong, it's a good job.
