Pedal chorus / flanger analog stereo, powered by 9v battery (easier access), or transformer. Both effects are switchable, and the modes are of the same wack `d and normal. pots retractable look austere, but very solid (500g!). The pots from left to right: Speed: adjusts the scanning speed of the LFO. depth: adjusts the width of the range of delay time to be balayée.delay time: Determines the delay time moyen.regen: injects a variable amount of the delayed signal to the entrance where the signal will be delayed again.

UTILIZATION

Very easy to use for who knows these effects, if the record clearly indicates very simple but standard settings providing a basis for finding custom sounds. j `emphasizes the convenience of the tone-lock system that allows the pots to return upon completion. Pushing speed in normal and regen `s found sounds wack mode` d!!

SOUND QUALITY

It `s` `s analog and it fit. j `had acquired this pedal to deepen my clean sounds with chorus, which is excellent. But the flanger is huge! I found the warmth of my old Ibanez flanger in the early 80 (sold but still works!). heavy distortion then take a single color, and the level of regen it `s going to a very mild one reactor` s plane. J `uses the two effects in normal mode with the same settings: speed: 5, depth: 4, delay time: 5, regen: 0. Mode `s nice to wack me remain almost never used. it `s going to vibrato effects soundgarden (see arpeggio black hole sun), to modulated sounds very SF. I` s uses a Gibson Flying V 1985 (snow white series) equipped with a `micro Tony Iommi Signature the bridge, on a head RH50T Randall, all relayed on a harley benton cabinet equipped with 2X12 Celestion Vintage 30. Indispensable to connect the loop `s effects.

OVERALL OPINION

Bought new three months ago, € 45 (clearance sale). Quality / price / performance unbeatable. essential: a good transformer, a low frequency oscillator that consumes. If I had to redo this choice: 200%! I intend to use the `many years, until or unless Ibanez so do the same with the change` s impact at the foot switchable.

But only for the chorus speed, delay time and depht are used.
Regen is used for the flanger.
WackD: very pronounced emphasis on the speed and effect.

UTILIZATION

It takes a while to find sounds that are looking for.
For the chorus I find a setting that satisfies me.

(My scale setting is located from 1 to 10)
flanger for:

Time-delay: 7
Regen-: 8
(I got closer to the sound of Andy Summers, message in the bottle, etc ...)

SOUND QUALITY

Then, I tested several other pedals chorus and flanger.
Boss CE5, ch1 not sound friendly, too rigid.
I am separated with no regrets.
For when I test against CF7, I was conquered.
Sounds clear, warm, dignified and very good effects.
Even in mono, it sounds!
IN STEREO is super extra.
When I couple the distortion with the flanger, I find the sound of Brian May.

I use it for a year now.
Unfortunately no one sells more in store.
It replaced two separate pedals, so ..
Very good value for money.
Very satisfied with my purchases 64euro.
surely I would do the same purchase, if it did not work.

This Ibanez pedal has two effects; chorus and flanger. It cannot be edited through any computer program, and it's not rackable as it's simply a pedal. The pedal uses digital technology, and there's only the standard 1/4" in and outs. There's a dry output as well.

UTILIZATION

The sound and effect editing is pretty basic. There is a switch that changes the effect from Chorus to Flanger. There are only four knobs. They control effect speed, depth, delay time, and regeneration. There is also a switch that changes things from normal to "Wakk'd", which is basically a more intense version of the effect, which rarely sounds good anyway. There isn't a really precise control to be found here. The manual explains everything, though it's not really needed at all as one can figure it out on their own.

SOUND QUALITY

I use this with my electric guitar, a Stratocaster. I don't particularly like this pedal with that, or any other guitar for that matter. It's very weak and unoriginal. The chorus and flanger tend to distort the sound and mess with the intonation far too much for my taste. They make the sound very muddy and they don't really add a good color to the tone. It does what I always fear most with chorus pedals; it makes the guitar sound really cheesy. That's tough to do with a good amp and guitar combination like the one I was using. You can do much better with both chorus and flanger pedals by different brands. Ibanez doesn't really make good pedals anyway.

OVERALL OPINION

I'm not crazy about this pedal at all, honestly. I think that this is one of the worst pedals I've ever purchased, and it makes sense, since I didn't pay a whole lot for it. Even if you only pay $40 it's too much. I didn't try too many other models before I bought this one and that was my mistake. I would never, ever buy this or recommend it to anybody. It's a really bad-sounding pedal.
