The T-Rex Engineering Twister is a stereo chorus and flanger pedal designed for use with electric guitar. It has a 1/4 inch input as well as two 1/4 inch outputs if you want to use this as a stereo pedal. It is powered by the power supply that comes with it and isn't a rackable piece of gear.

UTILIZATION

Using the T-Rex Engineering Twister isn't too hard as everything is put together nicely and easy to access. The pedal has parameters for depth, regen, tone, rate, and level and has switches to choose between chorus and flanger and light and heavy. This is a very versatile guitar pedal that is capable of getting all sorts of both chorus and flanger tones and while I don't have the manual, the pedal is easy to use and one isn't really needed.

SOUND QUALITY

I have only used the T-Rex Engineering Twister for electric guitar and while I do believe that is what it is best suited for, it can be used with any type of electronic instrument that you would like. I use this pedal usually for recording with a Fender Strat and a '76 Fender Twin Reverb so I get a pretty accurate read of what this pedal truly sounds like. It is hard for me to say whether I like the flanger or chorus setting better as they both sound really great and are both very versatile.

OVERALL OPINION

I've only been using the T-Rex Engineering Twister for about six months but in this short time I've become quite attached to this pedal because of its clean sound quality and great versatility. The pedal is definitely more expensive than most but if you are a pro and are looking for a top notch pedal, it is worth the price. Overall, the T-Rex Engineering Twister is one of my favorite chorus and flanger pedals available today.
