Perfect for any style of music if not to wait for an amp that changes the sound ... it simply restores the signal
The switch builds serious Valvestate mode but it's useless with a prampli
the power of 2 x 80 watts is more than enough and never grows back even with a drummer who bangs like a lumberjack ...

SOUNDS

I bought this to make me a PowerAmp ch'ti rpter for home and troubleshoot for small rooms (well yes, 100Watts lamp at home, it makes the neighbors scream! !)
I use to amplify a Vamp Pro, which it is not too bad, I redcouvert the stuff that sounds a little less synthetic like that. Everything is connected in a 2 * 12.

The Marshall brings a really good dynamics (indeed, on another forum, many use this power with great pramps lamps and everything he does change for the world ...).
I get all kinds of sounds thanks to Vamp (which will soon be replaced with something light, I covet a Mesa Studio Pramp)
For effects, I expect my multi-effects, TC Electronic (I hte of discovering this brand ...) happens in a few days.

OVERALL OPINION

I for a week.

SOUNDS

In clean sound is pretty good, the amp is transparent and respects the sound of that branch prampli above Obviously does not have the dynamics of a good Poweramp lamps. Saturated in the sound is correct: a branch of Mesa studio pre, the sound is quite dark, by operating the switch is Valvestate rcupere clarity but nothing transcendent. Branch prampli with Marshall, not too bad sounding, with Mesa and the serious food sound is not articulated trs.

OVERALL OPINION

I test a Mesa Studio Pre and compared with a Mesa fifty / fifty. Obviously it's no surprise the fifty / fifty is much more convincing to amplify the studio first. In the end the Marshall 8008 is a Poweramp correct for work at home or in styles scne but not too saturated. For 150 of OCCAZ 'is all perfectly fine though.

UTILIZATION

Was no manual, bought okkaz '.
Simple operation, just atention to use speaker cables, to be careful to comply with in / out in single or setreo according to the config, and respect ohms.

SOUNDS

The sound is fairly transparent linear.
2x 80w = 160w? Ben apparently this amp challenges the mathematical rules! Yes, 2x 80w = not much here, even for the transistor preamp engl ... I use a 530, three cabs in rotation (in engl 4x12 C30, and behringer marshall 1960 4x12 with Jensen), a gibson nighthawk / jackson RRX / Ibanez S270, and plays black / death. The 530 sounds great through the 8008, but so true, ca emt, lack of decibels! I often play with the head Laboga Herbert 100W lamps in the room next to repeat, nothing to see ben! I do up to 1-2am on Laboga and I broadly covers the battery, then I am stranded at, at the max marshall

OVERALL OPINION

Owl as cheap to play in either or with a drummer who does not play too loud. The sound is ok and there are beautiful OCCAZ.
