Q.Allcool « Excellent reverb! »
Published on 06/05/12 at 07:58This is a reverb pedal well known, and it deserves its fame! Four types of effects on the Holy Grail +:
-Spring (classic reverb, which is found on most tube amps)
Hall (imitation of the reverberation of a large room, like a church)
Room-(imitation of the reverberation of a small room)
-Flerb (accumulation of flanger and reverb, effect psyche well!)
Presence of true bypass of course, and comes with a 9V supply. In addition to the on / off switch pedal has a button amount (effect size), a blend knob (reverb time), and a button to select the effect you choose among the four.
UTILIZATION
Using fairly simple, but it will take some time to find a good setup that works for both the lead channel and clean channel. The manual could not be more basic in English, he explains briefly the role of different knobs.
SOUND QUALITY
I use this pedal with an Epiphone Les Paul Std + on a Peavey ValveKing 212, mainly for the large rock and progressive rock.
The effects are very good, very good quality especially the reverb effect "hall" which gives a huge scope to the sound. Indeed essential, among others, to play solos planing to Pink Floyd for example. The effect is very interesting and flerb to explore sounds rather strange.
