« The HP of the british invasion! »
Published on 12/31/12 at 02:28I mounted it in my HP Fender Deluxe Reverb for britaniser and warm up a bit. I use a transistor fuzz circuit and combining with Jensen C12K home provides a great thing with humbuckers but slamming into the very acute with single coil. I first replaced by a C12K Weber 12F150. Overdriven sounds are better defined but still sharp slap (the C12K and 12F150 are finally close enough). The Greenback is awesome! It softened the treble without tarnishing the grain. Mediums give a lot of "dog" and character and can move better in the mix with a color really british. The bass are not invasive (much better, we always put too!). Low power handling (25W) so the volume gaffe! I connected a power attenuator to protect it and it allows the output stage of the amplifier to work earlier. In short, great for HP and attractive grain genuine rock'n'roll!
