Housed in a cab Palmer generously sized and tested stiffness, Jensen C12Q the ridiculous price allows for clean tones defined, clean, firm in the bass and crystal treble. Mediums are not projected when the volume is up what is ultimately rare enough to be noticed.
I plugged the HP as the main output of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and Marshall Class 5 head and Ampeg GVT15H.
Each time, the result is excellent and I am fully satisfied. Coupled with GVT15 Ampeg, I get the most pure (or neutral, if you prefer) and more crystalline clean. The bridge pickups for a Les Paul Trad (classic 57 +) or R07 (Burstbucker II) are tinged with sweetness and thus lose some of their aggressiveness and sharp, which may be welcome in some circumstances.
The Class 5, compared to its association with a V30, gaining overall clarity and presence in the treble while losing in the lower spectrum.
Finally, the Hot Rod sounds fantastically.
Modulation effects go superbly in all cases.
With distortion pedal or natural saturation, Jensen clearly favors the top of the sound spectrum with a color slightly "fuzzy", somewhat in the spirit of Eminence Man o War-but they sound completely different in clean, Jensen is clear and transparent where the Eminence gives a touch of roughness.
Finally, the relatively low yield authorize domestic use low power heads with a volume driven.
I'm really pleased with the rendering of this speaker, its incredibly low price for an Italian production and not China. So there is no inevitability: quality products AND access can be made in Europe. We therefore come to ask about the fees charged by Celestion on HP's made in China ....
