I have the TU-2 for over 5 years now and it has never done me wrong-bond.
No modification of the sound of the instrument, no contribution or electric buzz of background noise and a fast and accurate tuning in silence (OUT) or not (with the other output).
The tuning can be done in strobe mode or "classic" mode. It is suitable for guitars, basses and specific to these instruments.
I had a 2 Strobostomp Peterson whose screen dropped ... I had to replace it. At the time Korg Pitchblack or other Polytune TC did not exist and I might have hesitated between one of these two models and the TU-2.
Personally, I place it in my pedalboard just before hitting the amp. RAS.
Easy tuner price barely higher of course, but that is his job.
