News TC Electronic PolyTune

Tuner/Pitch Pipe/Tuning Fork from TC Electronic belonging to the Polytune series

With PolyTune, TC Electronic promises guitarists and bass players that they can forget the old days of string-by-string tuning.

The device is designed to tune all strings simultaneously: Strum – PolyTune will tell you which strings need tuning – tune up and you’re ready to play.

PolyTune has a chromatic tuner as well, with an announced +/- 0.5 cent accuracy. MonoPoly, another TC Electronic technology, is designed to recognize whether you play one or more strings and switch between the polyphonic or the chromatic tuner on the fly.

PolyTune uses an ambient light sensor, which automatically matches the intensity of the bright LEDs to its surroundings. This is designed to ensure that the PolyTune display can be seen in any lighting conditions.

PolyTune is True Bypass and is designed to allow for the signal to flow unaffected when the pedal is bypassed and for silent tuning once engaged.

The pedal chassis features a diecast aluminum box, heavy duty footswitch and 108 LED display.
