« Boss PW-10 V WAH »
Published on 05/14/04 at 15:00Bought it from the music store right by me for about $140, the best buy ever!!! I tried out wah's, mainly dunlop, morley, and vox, this pedal has all of them in one and you can pick the range of the wah!!! Definitly the best wah out, nothing can beat this wah!
It's got a bunch of wah's in one, Morley, Dunlop, Vox, a bass wah, a custom wah, and advanced wah! The best sounding wah out! It has a uni-v, awesome feature, just like the dunlop rotovibe, I use that feature when playing hendrix, and then switch to the Vox V846 wah with the Big muff (which is also in the pedal)!! This pedal even has onboard distortions and overdrive! You can pick which you wanna use, OD-1, OD-2, Ds-1, Metal zone, big muff, blues driver, volume boost, and a few more! It even has a noise gate, and you can pick the range of the noise gate, from nothing, to getting rid of any extra noise! It has 3 memory saves, you really don't need to save anything, so don't cry that there's only 3, there really is no need to save anything. Turned it it on and switching back to bypass is simple, just like all wahs! I never used the heel switch, no need for it! Oh yeah, the best part is, no loud explosions when turning the pedal from bypass to on, or reverse, some wahs have those noisy pots, Boss was smart, made a little button thing, no noise at all when turning on or off! YOu wont need to replace the pots either, they don't seem to die out or get old or get noisy! You loose the instructions or get it used, who cares, on the bottom it tells you how to do everything, on the bottom plate.
The only thing I don't like about it is, I wish Boss made it sooner, I spent sooo much on wah's, and then Boss made one that sounds better than all of then!!!
It's an f'n Boss pedal, the best stuff out there!!!
If you are reading this, you obviously are thinking about getting it, stop reading this and just GO BUY IT, you won't be disappointed!!! This is the most versatile wah out, and it isn't only a wah!!!
