I've had the Hohner Blues Harp harmonica for about a year and it has definitley served me well in trying to learn the harmonica. These harps come in a variety of different keys, but the one I have is in the key of C. Not only is this a good looking harmonica on the outside of it, but it also has a great sound to it and is very easy to play. It feels good to blow into it and get an easy great sound from it and while I've certainly heard some better harmonicas, none of them were in this price range. I've used this harmonica both for recording and for live shows and while I'm pretty new at playing harp, I definitely feel that I've gotten my moneys worth for this harmonica. While this isn't the cheapest harmonica out there, (as even Hohner makes full sets of harmonicas for a little more than the cost of this one) it will certainly last you a long time and has a much better tone quality than most cheaper harmonicas out there. If you are new to the harmonica I would probably recommend something a little cheaper to get your feet wet with before getting a nicer one like this, but we're only talking about a small savings as the Hohner Blues Harp isn't that expensive to begin with. As I dive into the world of playing harmonica, the Hohner Blues Harp has give me a relatively cheap option that sounds great and is easy to play. Whether you are just trying to learn or are an established player, the Hohner Blues Harp is a great choice for playing all types of music, but of course is best for blues. All in all I highly recommend the Hohner Blues Harp as a great choice for any harmonica player.
