Published on 03/02/12 at 02:26I bought these speakers there is more than a decade, the speakers that I coveted for even longer, in fact since the moement where I had the opportunity to listen in comparative listening in an auditorium ( *) on my CD and my music with speakers competing and equivalent range (66 Celestion Ditton, BC Acoustique Niger ...)
I had not bought then because they were too dear, and I had no place at home: I had then fallen back on their younger sisters, the Skiff (also very good speaker, very nervous at any point similar to the Wing unless their dimensions and size of the woofer). Things have changed, with more space, more money and enjoying a promotion because she was nearing retirement business, so I ended up cracking to the Wing.
So very good speaker, restoring a balanced spectrum, and for a good run in the bass.
They are used today on the buttocks of an amplifier Onkyo Integra, as well as for the Hi-Fi for home-cinema and remain perfect.
They need a minimum of power to fully express themselves: the bowls of 12 "must be sought to feel the bass. A certain amount of play is therefore advisable, even if it works in relatively small rooms (15m2 home ) when you have understanding neighbors!
For all these years, no problem and lots of fun: I do not regret any of francs invested so at the time.
(*) To give an idea of the impression that I had felt in the auditorium: pregnant with "normal" I heard the music as I had always heard through a stereo speaker with more advanced the singer was IN the room. But with the Wing, the singer was BEFORE me.
I was impressed, especially as I had at that time a preference for other brands and listened to an unfavorable Cabasse (ask me why, remember)
