Being a fan of SABIAN, I bought this with a charley crash 16 "(rock) in the same series, there is a little less than a year. I was surprised by the value of this series. It is the same with the series at Sabian B8 or B8Pro, but with lower quality. Indeed, the series is entirely made Xs20 B20, the most resistant alloy used in the mid and high-end brand. This is Charley So strong and quality. The weight is about 2kg with the thickness of Botom very close to the Top, typical models "rock".
The charley has a sound located in the frequency instead of medium. So not too often "acute" or too low, that might be embarrassing. This gives us a versatile hi-hat in terms of styles (rock, etc.) and use (ideal for live sound or recording, to the delight of sound engineer).
The opening is not runny or invasive (very important in a rock) with a "Tchika" fine net, and ping a specific and very nice (for a different context as fusion, funk, etc.). .
