This is a 1 / 4 Chinese cash, copy of the gibson ES 335. Rather, it is successful! The table is slightly flamed maple with a painted sunburst 2 tons.La central part inside the box should not be of good quality (certainly the particle board as often on low-cost models).
The comfortable handle is made of 22 squares. Rectangular button pins are placed upright at the 12 th and 15 box. The acastillage gold is not super quality. I had a little problem with the bridges that tended to move but I have changed over the problem.
The two humbucker pickups are sending ... volumes and tones are progressive as it should.
UTILIZATION
This guitar is a copy of the Gibson and therefore with its advantages and disadvantages. Standing, it tends to pitch down and access to acute is not very obvious. That said, the handle is very comfortable to play. It took me a little time because I was used to my strat this template and more imposing requires some adaptation.
SOUNDS
Disconnected, the projection is very good, it intends to each note. Once inside the amp, the sounds are obtained from jazz to rock to AC / DC through the blues.
The neck pickup can give her a thick playing on the knobs which, incidentally, are very effective.
The intermediate position of the selector gives a very nice jazzy sound that twang a little ...
The mic sounds super sharp with a little overdrive. I find it quite aggressive.
Really, the sound is very good.
OVERALL OPINION
1 year ago, I was looking for quarter cash for cheap. Penssais I go next door to the Ibanez but discovering this brand (Coxx) and especially the price (300 €) I have not thought a long time. Having tried the 335 Epiphone home, there's no photo, I prefer my coxx just for finishing at the violin. I told him I changed the mechanical and the tailpiece and bridge for a better quality because I had some problems (I think it is not widespread on all models). A question remains: will she stand the test of time (collages)?
At least for those who have nothing to do with what is written on the head, choose this guitar, the value for money is really good.
