Incredible neck ,I can play this for hours without tiring.Good natural body resonance unplugged which ,I feel, effects how it sings.True, you do not find the same attention to detail on cosmetics as the Gibson it is supposed to be derived from ,but the guitar itself is ,for intended purpose ,a 335 . I feel Gibson is really under cutting themseleves this axe is up to it, as far as I am concerned.
Switch is not very tough won't last long without trouble a Switchcraft ,which is what Gibson uses on guitars costing thousands ,should be easily aquired from any local shop for $25 tops. Pots, not as bad , mine are not crackling yet,but they are not heavy duty so they may crash after a while.
The one I got has excellent fit and finish all 'round save for a bad fill job on 1 position marker, just as good as Gibsons I've recently checked out. I have seen some on the racks with a few dodgey bits but still essentially solid all 'round. Gold plating on pick-ups soon disappears , not very heavy . Road worthy as any Gibson,but then nothing is as tough as a Fender.
You cannot get a better deal than this if you are in the market for an excellent Blues/Jazz guitar.As mentioned switch & pots don't really make it ,but considering that a new switch ,pots and a" Gibson decal" would cost you at least 5 times as much ,you can buy two and still have change.
