UTILIZATION
Having always played on strat before have I made a few months to get used to: a strat he comes in to make it sound. The 345, it must cherish
I have put 6 months / 1 year to get used to it! At the beginning I felt I regress into my game because the guitar does not forgive anything. I think it is also a quality instrument that it meets the finger to the eye and transcribed the slightest nuance in sound, including the bread!
Access to the treble is very good except for the last 2 boxes where it goes, but limited.
The skyscraper is a bit heavy and bulky compared to a good strat (there are strat horribly heavy!). It is well balanced and cons the shape is nice. Standing is very comfortable.
The case is very poorly balanced and is well-broken when ***** must walk a little while.
The sound is just huge, the possibilities of setting dizzy, short of great art.
A small 9 because it's still hard to make more comfortable that a stratum (except the handle is a delight on the 345) and it is a bit heavy for my back.
SOUNDS
But good sound? Well, it's magic. This guitar has the sound, where they branch, even live on a sound card with nothing else, it sounds. She has a very strong character that shows through whatever type of sound (clean, OD, distortion) that is used, which makes it instantly recognizable.

The stereo? honestly when I bought it, I saw it as a gadget that I never use. The day I tested the connection in 2 entries Hot Rod Deluxe at the same time, I realized she was in 2 notes made for this. It is hard to describe but even in a single 2-input amplifier, the sound is fuller, more airy than mono. When you begin to plug a wah on the microphone to the acute and severe micro-line, it becomes incredible. We can shape the sound of pots with the guitar and get a truly unique: I can put a wah sound of a jazz sound, clear sound and saturated at a time, half a tremolo ... It is limitless!
In short you'll understand as soon as possible, I play in stereo! I think that the BIG 'most' of the 345 and I'm surprised it is not known and in use more than that.
For the rest, the volume buttons and tone are very accurate and can really shape the sound. Almost too much for me as a novice gibson: I am confused, so, I tend to use some settings that I found and stored, rather than adjust each time. It will come with time.
The versatility is amazing: it can pull like a Les Paul but also sound like a jazz 137. I tested it with a friend who has a 137 custom, vacuum the 137 sounds a lot more jazz. When connecting, I can get a really sound the same (it must be said that the mics are). The best jazz sounds are produced by mixing a pinch of micro acute with the neck pickup. It compensates the lack of ebony.
I wear a 10 although on balance, it deserves 12 in stereo for the breadth and uniqueness it brings. Warning, if you try the stereo effects on a mic and not the other you'll be hard pressed to return to a single guitar ... You have been warned!
OVERALL OPINION
