Guitar USA made 1978 1992 a few years so hyper luxurious derivative of the 355 or 335, gibson bridge classic, round tasty as the 335, ebony fingerboard (I say luxurious), 22 frets, gold hardware (real gold plated directly from the mine) beautiful, mechanical oil bath, fine tuning the bridge (really useless, the guitar does not move but good) 2 volumes 2 tones, switch 3 positions for a little more classic splitter, two Burstbucker pickups good.
Guitar beautiful! it is the custom of the 335/355! listed less yet strangely more beautiful and versatile. Finishing dream! I have 23 years refrettée 4 times including once by a great luthier'm saying I will not say that Lyon's name, to the point where I had to make refretter just after .....
I also changed the jumpers carved by time and the nut, electronics has not changed, not even the shadow of a scrouitch scrouitch in 23 years.

UTILIZATION

Handle the most enjoyable I've had ridiculously low action allows the weight is reasonable, it is perfectly balanced, access to acute is, no default. The sound is a treat, everything is there when I do not use other zicos scold me even splitted sounds are not ridiculous. Not breathing.

SOUNDS

It is a good PE so you can get the Jazz, rock and a bit of everything (I do not know the musette), I tried all sorts of tie wire spider clothesline, best c is the 11-52, good sustain heavy load, the micro is a treat serious decline is a bit sharp and G Benson is in the room, it splits to go with him,
Both pickups together it is we all frequencies cool for rock, split it's quieter but no change level to own kind of Electronic and breathless,
The treble is excellent rich set shining firmament.
She live everywhere, we feel it physically, it is a treat.
I tried all sorts of amp (mesa, marshall, vox, fender etc. ..) it sounds it sounds, it sounds just a tiny tendency to get feedback on the marshall?

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 23 years, three refrettages, (4 due to other Crét $ £ *), varnish under the forearm is a little less bright, a good 23 years anyway ...
Under the heel at the junction varnish is gone I do not know why or where? but it is even more beautiful.
I had numerous guitars (prs, musicman, Godin ...), it remains to me only 4 but this is the one that I will take to a desert island (with the current), she has traveled the world with me, this is my best guitar without vibrato.
The value for money was excellent imported direct USA, only the box has aged badly, I would do this choice with your eyes closed, in fact if you see one secondhand do not hesitate, this is a 335 better, more beautiful, more sound and less expensive because less unfairly listed. In addition there is no chance of getting a fake Chinese copy like some other Gibson.
The most beautiful, the oldest and most good!
