The one bad rap about Dimarzios is many of them have a fuzz you cannot dial out. This one is a case in point. Ye3ah, it is dynamic and shit, but once you crank the gain on even a JCM800, the crunch, which is otherwise nice, turns into a fuzzball. I guess thats what Gilbert likes, a somewhat stratish bucker that can dial back into a Strat like clean, who am I to second guess one of the greatest players in the worls, but it ain't for me.
