«  really, the Deluxe would be better? »

Here is the description on the website of SP Custom:
"The Savage Beast microphones are" high gain ", dedicated to distortions, with a very rich organic grain.!
This powerful set of microphones delivers enough sound "fat" in the bridge while still remaining accurate. Ideal for full chords, rapid rythmiqes and whatever the degree of saturation. Without saturation, we find surprisingly clear sound crystalline and loosed see very PAF in mind when handle but also very nice in the bridge. "

I can not agree with the description: these microphones in good overdriven sounds are particularly accurate and friendly. Also, they are very interesting in the light and in the case of a split, then it is not their chosen field.
They equip my guitar superstrate type mounted by the Atelier Alexander Orsay. The finish of the guitar has a very next Rocky Horror Picture Show, hence its nickname the "frankenstein". And we must admit that the flashy look (between red and peach) microphones contributes perfectly to the success of this makeup ;)
Overall I'm very satisfied: to be honest, I even wrote on facebook to SP Custom to tell them that I loved their microphones, I even prefer it to my old Bare Knuckle Crawler (another kind, however, although on another superstrate). Skilful manager says he's very pleased with my testimony, and learns that he is a version "deluxe" of these microphones, and would biiien above in terms of quality and sound. it did not fall in deaf ears!
My guitar with an exceptional violin (selected Warmoth body and neck, violin sick, etc. - better I'll stop there), I think it must have the best ... so I will buy a pair of Savage Beast Deluxe soon as possible. The "Lite" being apparently more products, it seems almost useless to advise, but who wants to buy my old pair for when I bought the deluxe ;)
Cheers SP Custom anyway! Now, I always will direct to their microphones!
