Best value:
Excellent
Small compact combo, preamp tube, an outlet for outdoor HP, possible effects loop (not tested), HP has a unique but voluntary! OK this is not the 50 W lamps for a while, but the power is there.
UTILIZATION
Ease of use. The clean channel is ... clear! But we rarely buy it for Marshall. Saturated side channel, just a little "gain" to get very nasty sounds.
SOUNDS
I play in a blues rock band, mostly rhythmic, from time to time as the second soloist. I use it mostly with an Ibanez SZ QM that Les Paul has a profile quite marked: big rock, big sound. The combinbaison of 2 is OK to make sounds "crunch" or electric blues and good fat. Sometimes I add one or the other effects (chorus, delay) from a pedal Boss ME 50. In concert, I couple with a box 100 w VHT two broadcasters and it is not ridiculous at all face, for example, Mesa Boogie my solo! It is always better, but often much more expensive.
OVERALL OPINION
I play with the 50 avt for nearly two years. This is an excellent purchase, very good value for money, compact, with good potential for those who do not want to ruin everything in a lamp. If c'éatit to brefaire, I would do without hesitation, in fact I plan to keep the combo for rehearsals and small rooms, and buying 50 AVT head for bigger concerts. Marshall truth without paying the mark or useless gadgets.
