What technical specifications motivated your choice? > The price! prsence converters and 24/96, as I previously owned a SBLive 16/48
config; duron 1300, no-name motherboard, 1 GB RAM, 7200 rpms
I use a console LEM Pises 8 analog and two pairs of speakers: Studiophile DX4 LINKED table, and the Edirol MA-10D RELATED output S / PDIF card
UTILIZATION
Installation nickel gaffe but the IRQ, NCESS to change the card pci slot several times before finding the right configuration.
The manual is available in FR download on the site M-Audio
GETTING STARTED
I use it on Reason 2.5 and Ableton 4.1, and I use the maximum latency (48 m) because of my CPU Exceeds by vnements (duron a 1G3 which is hard to follow)
I think I can go a lot better by changing motherboard + proc, the card seems to support latency <5ms in Asio
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for Christmas 2004
the particular feature is the simplicity of routing configuration
if I had the choice again, I would choose all the same with a more analog I / O: 2in / 2 out single it's been a fair bit ... Fortunately I have my edirol speakers that allow me to enjoy the S / PDIF or act as converters
