This card possde all I asked for small scale home studio. In addition, the connections are gold plated, making it an advantage over parasites in a round of electric Cables.

I use it with various software including Cubase SX 2 on a PC which reads the configuration
- 2.4 Ghz PC, Win XP
- 1GB Ram
- 2 = 80 GB HDD + 12 GB
it is fitting a mixer on between An / in and outputs are connected to an amplifier with passive monitoring speakers.

UTILIZATION

No worries installation. Win XP recognizes the card aussitt.
No imcompatibilit with the sound card chipset I have in the bios disables the Prior.
For configuration, not too much problem but I read some of the manual for using the panel CONTRL, nothing too long.
The manual is available in English but in French on the website of M-Audio

GETTING STARTED

Drivers put days on the site regularly, no worries.
On Cubase with ASIO 2 get between 6 and only 1 ms of latency is to say nothing! (Depending on the rate chantillonage).
I did not test in cubase audio track over 10 + 6 twelve o'clock so I do not say more but this level + a lot of plugin, no worries of a crash, a running.

OVERALL OPINION

99 For it is unbeatable!
This card I mdiocrit large changes in the sound of Systm motherboard of my PC.
I compared a long time before buying, Night with the EMU 404 to the same price, but what determines my choice is the dynamic range and more powerful DSP and I / O RCA gold.
I highly recommend you for a small home studio.
