I was looking for a sound card 96 24
For enrgistrer, mix, master
ASUSP4B 1.5 giga 512MoRam 2DD80gigas
Midi keyboards, microphones, CAD, guitars, preamp lamp envoice

Everything works in 44/16 near-zero latency
96 in the machine (yet powerful) only and are not rsultat trs satisfactory gnral (instability, the enrtegistrement clicks). I must say that my projects are 26 audio tracks minimum. In a relatively stable Cubase5 taken care to treatment of (at least 5 or 6 effects per project) and at least 4 or 5 vst instruments ...

UTILIZATION

Installation impeccable, the drivers day put on the site M-Audio

Config gnrale child
Manual clear. The map does not do much but generally well done. Audio quality with unmatched creative sounblaster Chres and so little music that I had before.
Only regret is the only creative supoporter SOUNFONT native format (and the type virtual sampler halion behavior have not perfected the edge of this format)

GETTING STARTED

Not yet had time to install new drivers

Problem with Cubase, recording: behavior wacky levels of audio (is there a possible relationship between the recording and Cubase automation of the sound card?? Mystra)

Latency idalie

Number of tracks max read audio tracks + 34 8 VST instruments and effects

OVERALL OPINION

Uses in a year
a + + + +
bp monitor in cubase ---
Price quality excellent, but few and not programs that come with, but one need wish gigapiano

I am considering buying another sound card equipped with DSP effects and in-house may be in complment. Another weakness, this card does not read audio CDs, which can be pnalisant for "grabber" audio tracks ....
