iZotope, Inc announces the acquisition of Imagine Research, Inc., a developer of audio analysis technologies.
Based in San Francisco, Imagine Research developed MediaMined, a cloud-based sound similarity and sound-object recognition engine powered by machine learning.
The development team has applied their expertise to media companies like Skywalker Sound, Pandora, Line 6 and JamLegend (acquired by Zynga).
