Personally, I chose a model with massive cedar table, no cutaway, gloss

UTILIZATION

Comfortable handle, C-shaped rather flat in the center.
access to acute is average, Because no cutaway, but I rarely drops below the 15th box ...
Jumbo is one, ie imposing big granny, but you get used pretty quickly, especially on taking full advantage of the impressive resonance of the body, rather nice!
for the rest, the hardware is of good quality. the beast comes with strap lock (not very useful for me, I rarely flip the scratches with this ...).

SOUNDS

The cedar associated with rosewood sides and back provides a clear, warm and rather medium, with bass and treble soft present, without excess.

A strong pull is recommended in this configuration (I put the exp 12-53), it is perfect to get some fishing while retaining the warmth and softness.

I use it mainly as an accompaniment to finger pick (rhythmic arpeggios), rarely solo. it is also excellent in open tuning with bottleneck.
I particularly appreciate his dynamic play or attacks finesse frankly, it supplies one-quarter turn (the ebony fingerboard plays a part too).

one quibble: in some situations, I would like a more crystalline (I had to choose the spruce top!)

OVERALL OPINION

After 3 years of use, I'm still satisfied. Before making my choice, I tried Martin and Takamine in the same price range, and also less expensive models in Seagull (different but also excellent), cort ...
The price / quality ratio is excellent for a hair below 1000 euros, while we are in the massive cedar / rosewood just waiting to age well, with a finish quality copy, and especially the one in total harmony format with (this is not always the case !!!).
I would definitely do it again this choice can be electro version ...

Go ahead try Alhambra: the jumbo is excellent, classic, dreadnought and other formats are all the same!
